HOW IT ALL STARTED...

Robert Sadowski started the Northwest Credit Union Collectors Association (NWCUCA) in 1975. Originally, it was called the Washington Credit Union Collectors Association. Robert had a vision of Credit Union collectors getting together to help others. His association would help new collectors as well as experienced collectors.

Now as we move into the twenty-first century, the association has grown to become the NWCUCA. It includes the following states: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. Who knows where we will go from here! We do know that to keep our founders visions alive it will take a commitment from all of us.

Membership Eligibility for Credit Unions

For Credit Unions in the states of WA, OR, ID, MT and AK. Our mission is to provide professional collection training and networking opportunities to the Credit Union's collectors and promote the professionalism of the Credit Union Collector. Dues are $100.00, a bargain considering the collection knowledge you can tap into and the educational opportunities offered. Join Now

Objectives:

To strengthen the Association by expanding membership to other states.
To keep collectors informed of credit and collections services, new legislation and regulations that affect them at either the state or federal level.
To help establish professionalism and ethical standards of performance in the conduct of daily business.
